I like hearing of so many advances in immune therapy for curing cancer. Unfortunately, not everyone is cured and often they have to fail conventional therapy like chemo and radiation to get immune therapy. By then their bodies are so weak a d sick. Why can't immune therapy be one of the Threaten my family and I will be the last thing you never see shirt reatments now. Hasn't it proven itself yet. That’s exactly what happened to my mom. 4 months of chemo and radiation made her so weak, she broke her leg and ended up not being able to get immunotherapy.

 It's most likely because of insurance, they don't like covering something new or effective till old ways tried first even if it's advantageous to your health. My niece was cured of stage 4 melanoma using immunotherapy she is a living miracle. after 3 years cancer free no drugs. It will eventually be the Three Wine Red Santa Hat Christmas Shirt unfortunately at this point it is limited on who or what it works on. I wish they would have done this with my daughter. She had pancreatic cancer..battled for 8 months with that awful chemotherapy. She died 5 years ago at the age of 39.

This technique exists already a long time and is used with succes for skin cancer. These days oncologists are trying succesful treatments on other kinds of cancers. This is used on more women with breastcancer and was in general not succesfull. These announcements give unnessesary hope to people with cancer. Yes, they are making big steps but they are not there yet. Peter Gheysen I understand where you are coming from. I also get angry at people giving false hopes for those of us with cancer. True hope though, comes from within, and I am sincerely hoping that you are not taking the Santa’s Favorite Ho Shirt "terminal" so seriously that you have stopped hoping. Keep fighting, keep believing that you can still have a wonderful quality of life despite cancer. Don't let it bring you down.

My mom a skin cancer in stage two after her surgery she take immunotherapy treatment the result is good. Doctor mentioned 80% the sickness won't be back. Can confirm my dad was involved in immunotherapy trials back between 1990-2000 for skin cancer. Didn’t save him but apparentlythe docs did say it gave him those extra 10 years (most of which were happy and healthy except for the last bit). Currently have a former work colleague (we work in health system) being treated on a more advanced form of immunotherapy at the moment for lung cancer and is having promising results. I suppose the Official Stan Lee thank you for the memories T-Shirt is that like all treatments it takes time unfortunately to refine them and it’ll work great for some people, ok for some, and not at all for others.
