I agree it was awful that his chair was lost, but all the drama queen stuff was unnecessary. Glad he was reunited with it fairly quickly.Shouldn’t sue the airline. They left his wheelchair. The airport tried to help him. Also if he was able to drag himself he would be able to use his wheelchair. I have heart failure. The vast majority of the people who need wheelchairs cannot wheel/push themselves, therefore, why would airports have self-propelled wheelchairs available. Think of how different the   if this athlete accepted a ride in a wheelchair. Athlete takes in stride the losing his wheelchair. I doubt this is the real reason for him dropping the law suit. He was offered a wheelchair but refused it claiming he would be unable to wheel it by himself as well as being afraid of getting pressure sores from it. now his friend was with him so he could have wheeled him in the chair but instead, he chose to video him dragging himself along the floor. I'm sure the person giving him the chair would also have organized a staff member to help him get to where he needed to go to also i don't know how he was going to get pressure sores in the short time he would have been in the chair. this just all seemed to be a publicity stunt.

He should have claimed that the reason why he had to have his wheels was based on his religion. I like how everyone here with two perfectly functioning legs is calling this man an attention seeker or an idiot or any other nonsense. The airport claims they offered assistance but what they had on hand to offer was unacceptable considering how much money airports make to offer such a cheap chair to handicapped people is just insulting it just means they don't take handicaps serious.

It is good to hear his actions achieved success as the airport has now invested in the proper equipment.It's funny how he thought a luggage trolley was more suitable than a wheelchair, when he got out of the Get in loser UFO retro alien spaceship shirt and along the concrete to a taxi. I can tell you those airports are proper shitholes, and I don’t even wanna mention the bathrooms, even most of London was disappointing to be honest. Countries like Ecuador and Colombia have way better and nicer airports than than London which is pretty bad considering England status.

Preliminary consideration citizens it is not morality to ignore them it is necessary to have a humane value in public it is right to ask for no generosity the journey to your trolley it is a baked reply to the authorities this is a sweet revenge. A wheelchair gives people like this gentleman and myself, a great feeling and sense of Independence, an independence that non disabled people take for granted. And judging by some of the comments on here by non disabled people, they are so narrow in their thinking they lack the empathy to see this. This happened to me at Heathrow, because they lost my self propelled wheelchair. And they provided a wheelchair that someone had to push. I would not budge out of principle, until they gave me my wheelchair back, or at the very least, a self propelled wheelchair. I got my wheelchair back and went on my way, but I did write them a very critical email. Do not chastise people who treasure their independence, that their wheelchair provides, because you take your own non disabled independence for granted. It's just a pity this gentleman didn't go through with taking the Tinkerbell Christmas tree Sweater to court.
